5 DNA Traits for Effective Communication

I’m five foot eight inches tall with brown hair and hazel eyes. Those traits, along with my wicked sweet tooth, can all be traced back to my parents’ DNA.

Just as my DNA acts as a blueprint for my traits, an organization’s DNA outlines those characteristics that define how they operate.

With that in mind, I selected five DNA traits that best describe my approach, shaping every action and output:

  1. Clear: Cut through the noise and jargon to deliver messages that are easy to understand.

  2. Conversational: There is power in a good conversation. Engaging and approachable communications make complex ideas accessible and relatable.

  3. Compelling: Great stories move people. Compelling narratives captivate audiences and inspire action.

  4. Compassionate: Empathy is essential. Genuine connection begins with compassion and understanding.

  5. Creative: Bring innovation and creativity to every project, ensuring the communications stand out and leave a lasting impression.

Are there any you would add or change?

My goal is to ensure everything I do brings out the best of each of these traits. These traits are a guide as I help organizations connect, engage, and thrive. Reach out to learn more about how I can help your organization shine!
